Experiencing voice difficulties can be scary and confusing – our team of specialist speech and language therapists can help you to understand what your diagnosis or symptoms mean, and how to recover. Speech therapy sessions will provide a foundation for your voice rehabilitation journey, helping to bridge the gap between your other specialists. This treatment is about providing a holistic approach to managing voice or throat symptoms.

These sessions will often be part of a multidisciplinary approach, alongside sessions with other members of our team such as vocal massage or voice rehabilitation. As a team, collaboration is at the heart of our approach and in order to provide the most effective, efficient and economic care we can, we often recommend at least one session of Speech Therapy.

What will happen at my appointment?

Your first session of speech therapy will help to explore your concerns. Voice problems can be complex, so it is important to take time to determine the underlying cause of your issues. One of our team will listen, help you to understand your symptoms, and explain the treatment options most appropriate for you.

How long is an appointment?
